Champlevé is an enameling technique that consists of cutting away the metal to create cells and filling the depressions with vitreous enamel. The raised metal lines between the cutout areas form the design outline. In this collection, I am creating the recessed areas by the process of etching.
What is better than a SPRING rider? One that SWINGS...obviously! This piece is a champleve enamel set in sterling silver with a trapeze setting which allows this pendant to swing, like a...well....swing! It rests on an 18" sterling silver chain.
