This piece is inspired by the train in Cardington, Ohio. My dad grew up in Cardington. His graduating class was about 15 with four of his friends also named Steve. I always hated the drive to mid Ohio to visit my grandmother. I always wished we could just fly to Cardington even though it’s only an hour and a half drive. Too bad I was such a cranky kid. I would give anything to drive back to mid Ohio and visit my grandmother once more. By any means of transportation.
